The Good Old Days?

I have deduced from listening to the elders of my youth, that "the good old days" were just after World War 2 ended to about the 1970s, in the United States. This was the era of America' greatness. These are the times that presidential candidates use to rally support. This is more mythology. Lies by statistics. American propaganda is worthy of the volumes that have been compiled and published.
The good old days were never as good as we remember, despite having some very good times during rough times. That's what we do isn't it? We look back with nostalgia and we look forward with hope and anticipation, or dread and doom.
We'll chat about this today and we'll go to the park. And there's some other segment you must watch because I simply cannot remember. Ha ha. Happy Moonday.
