STATELINER Long Distance Bus Ride: Adelaide to Whyalla

G’day OWFsquad, due to COVID, I am not able to fly as much as before. However, I am still committed to upload a video weekly and this week, we have a bus video! Rest assured, new trip reports are coming back next week!

On 12 September 2020, I took the Stateliner bus from Adelaide to Whyalla, the journey took approximately 5.5 hours with stops at several towns including Port Pirie and Crystal Brooks. Full fare would be $69.90, luckily I am a student studying at a South Australian institute so I was entitled to concession fare of $34.95, which I think was a bargain! From Stateliner’s official website: Stateliner operates one of the longest standing modern coach fleets in South Australia. We have over 25 full size coaches in the fleet. All coaches are air conditioned and all full size coaches have a toilet on board for your convenience. A large number of the fleet have wheelchair access and one of these vehicles can be requested for a passenger requiring assistance. The new vehicles feature leather seats with generous legroom and USB ports for each passenger for charging electronic devices.
