According to CGTN TV channel, the American destroyer USS Hopper was successfully expelled from Chinese territorial waters. We are talking about the water area near the Xisha Islands (South China Sea), said senior colonel of the PLA Southern Combat Command Tian Junli.

In the operation to oust the US warship, Beijing involved both the Navy and the Air Force. China noted that Washington is seeking dominance in Asian waters, as well as “militarization of the South China Sea.”
