'Take Care of Maya Trial' Trial: Day Four Recap | Lawyer Reacts

Day Four - the jury was released today so the Court could take up motions regarding evidence and jury instructions. The motions had some interesting tidbits, so it's still worth discussing!

Kowalski v. Johns Hopkins All Children's Medical Center - the underlying facts of this case were the subject of the Netflix documentary, "Take Care of Maya" and involve treatment of Maya Kowalski beginning in 2015 by Johns Hopkins All Children's Medical Center (Florida) in 2015. Opening statements began on September 21, 2023, and we're still in the Plaintiff's case-in-chief.
