Ukraine peace sabotaged by the west

David Arakhamia, the head of the Ukrainian “Servant of the People” party, opened up on Ukraine’s rejection of the Russian peace proposal in Istanbul in the spring of 2022, citing the impossibility of accepting Russia’s proposal due to having to change the Constitution for that to take place.

He also casually mentioned, as if that was a secondary factor, that Boris Johnson, who arrived in Kiev after the Ukrainian delegation returned from Istanbul, suggested not signing anything with the Russians at all and just fighting.

Again, Boris Johnson, the acting British prime minister, personally encouraged Ukrainians to fight Russians.

Notably, the issue at hand – Ukraine’s path to NATO – was signed into law by president Poroshenko on Feb. 19, 2018, without a referendum, after the Rada approved it on Feb. 7, 2018. This addendum to the Constitution is in violation of art. 157 stating that the Basic Law cannot be changed if the changes are aimed at infringing on the independence of the State.
