Hot Garbage "1946" Westbrook (Wagner) Traction Elevator at Ebenezer's Attic (N Wilkesboro, NC)

This was the most painful title I have ever put together in my entire life. I'm still coping with the facts that one of my favorite elevator brands has an older elevator that is morphing into a complete hot mess. Honestly, I was surprised this was ridable in this fake Goodwill store in the first place since an elevator like this would be more in a private area.

This building was supposedly built in 1910, and you can tell this elevator was originally a manual installed by Wagner. This layout is very similar to another Westbrook I've filmed at SotS, which also used to be a manual from 1900-1903 before it became automatic in 1946 by Westbrook. As such, this elevator was made automatic with CJ Anderson buttons by Westbrook in 1946.

Unlike SotS's one though, this elevator runs like hot garbage. From the violent stops and jolts, to the terrible door operator, this thing is on the verge of constant break downs. Westbrooks are generally awesome and reliable, but whoever is maintaining this is doing horrible. Either they need to fix this ASAP or decommission it before it becomes an eventual death trap (no way in hell am I gonna suggest a mod, because it won't fix shit as seen time and time again).
