Police are hunting these dopey thieves who were caught on camera trying to steal a display of mobile phones - without realising they were all DEMOS.
Shocking footage shows the men, who made no attempt to cover their faces, attempting to make off with the dummy devices at a Carephone Warehouse.
But as the display unit full of phones and tablets was attached to a strong cord that wouldn't give way the bungling pair were forced to flee from the store.
