Free Perfectly Crispy Pork Carnitas Tacos Recipe 🌮🐖
Introduction:

Ingredients:
2 lbs pork shoulder, cut into chunks
1 orange, juiced
1 lime, juiced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Corn tortillas
Fresh cilantro for garnish
Diced onions for topping
Salsa verde for serving
Lime wedges for garnish
Instructions:
Marinate the Pork:
In a bowl, combine pork chunks with orange juice, lime juice, minced garlic, chopped onion, ground cumin, dried oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Slow Cook the Pork:
Transfer the marinated pork to a slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
Crisp Up the Carnitas:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Transfer the shredded pork to a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the edges become crispy.
Prepare the Toppings:
Dice onions, chop fresh cilantro, and prepare lime wedges.
Warm the Tortillas:
Heat the corn tortillas on a griddle or in a dry skillet.
Assemble the Tacos:
Spoon the crispy Pork Carnitas onto each tortilla.
Add Toppings:
Top with diced onions, fresh cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
Serve with Salsa Verde:
Serve the Pork Carnitas Tacos with salsa verde on the side.
