(NSFW) Bonked in the Head by Grenade Drop

Footage provided by a Ukrainian drone equipped with a thermal camera. Two Russian soldiers appear center screen, one sitting and one curled in the fetal position. The heat signature indicates that both are alive, and the sitting soldier fiddles nervously with the pistol-grip of his rifle. The drone drops what appears to be a modified grenade on the sitting soldier, which glances off his helmet and lands next to him, but the soldier appears not to react. The camera is good enough to distinguish some facial features, but there seems to be no reaction on his face, and his fingers restlessly play an unheard tune on his rifle. The grenade explodes, sending blast and shrapnel into the man’s leg, chest, and face. He rolls over onto his belly, clutching his face. The employment of drones has changed warfare, and drones with thermals mean that even the night offers no rest or respite.
