Man Tries to Pull Child Into His Car

The Cape Coral Police Department is investigating after they say a man tried to grab a young boy and get him into his car. Police say it happened in the 100 block of SE 15th Terrace at around 5:15 PM on Sunday. The man is described as a Hispanic male, 40-50 years old, driving a white Toyota Prius. He was wearing a plain shirt and possibly jean shorts. Police say he got out of his car, grabbed the boy, and tried to get him into his car. The boy was able to get away and call 911. Police say the car was seen by witnesses in the area prior to the incident. Officers urge you to take precautions. Anyone with information is asked to call the Cape Coral Police Department at (239) 574-3223 or 911.
