Einstein is actually stretching, not doing yoga. However, when he stretches it does resemble yoga poses! Parrot and birds of all kinds stretch like this on a regular basis. They are on their feet 24/7 so a good stretch is important. Parrots stretch for the same reasons people do, to lubricate the joints, to release tension, and primarily because stretching feels good.
