Sports Fans!

This new adventure we're on threw me a curve on this trip. I grew up fishing the salt water in the Southern New Jersey back bays and ocean. Black Sea Bass were pretty common.....but I've NEVER caught them in the Chesapeake Bay!

New experiences, new techniques in technically new water. The bay up where I fished a year and a half ago never saw any of these amazing creatures. At least not for me. This was like fishing the 28 mile wreck off the NJ coast!

We had the right gear with the @PENNfishing reels, the @Fenwickfishing spinning rods and the @g-eyejigs1286 jig heads tied on. The braided line we were using helped out with sensitivity to feel these tiny strikes.....take a look at the size of that TINY sea bass!!!!! He hit a soft plastic that was bigger than him!

Anyhow, really great to be fishing a body of water that's somewhat familiar in new ways and see all sorts of new saltwater species here. We're far enough south to see southern water saltwater species as well. Don't worry, we'll get on 'em!

Well, that's it for now. Love you all and I mean it, we'll see you on the water soon.

Captain T out for now!
