Wow what an amazing experience to be able to witness this birth. Firstly I was fortunate enough to be with Rosemary when she gave birth to the runt of the litter. If I wasn't there then that piglet would have drowned. Secondly it's not uncommon for pigs to birth during the night and all the excitement is missed, that's what happened last time.
