Looking at WotC's Core Book Text Changes - There's a Failure to See the Forest for the Trees

Judging from the responses to yesterday's video, which are numerous and insightful, I think there is a failure to see The Forest for the Trees. It's not the changes to the verbiage that are a concern, not the intent behind those changes. D&D is WotC's IP after all, and they can do as they wish with it. It is, essentially, presenting these changes as if this is what the relevant text ALWAYS stated. One could almost call this "gaslighting".
