Idaho Leads the Nation in Vaccine Exemptions

Idaho ranks highest in the country for childhood vaccination exemptions. A new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that Idaho has an exemption rate of 12.1%, which is significantly higher than the national average of 3%. This means that more than 1 in 10 children in Idaho are not vaccinated. The report also shows that Idaho is one of only 10 states in the US with an exemption rate higher than 5%.
