Parsley survived a 14°F frost

Parsley is still alive although it fell to the ground. The leaves are not frozen and hard. It's not possible! Perhaps the thick snow warmed the parsley during the frost. One night we had 14°F. It was very cold for three days. Now the snow has melted and it is very warm outside. It's 37.4°F
This is a video of parsley in summer.
