The most important way to rehab a shoulder is in the closed chain.

The closed chain is a safe position to be able to have the head of the humerus sit properly in the glenoid (joint of the shoulder)

We use things like the body blade to build strength in rehab through rhythmic stabilisation. But, some aren’t ready for that because you don’t want to build tone in a bad position. This exercise is a much better place to start.
