Wellington Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano joins Martin Devlin on It's Only Sport, four games into the men's A-League football season. The Phoenix are unbeaten with two wins and two draws, sitting third on the ladder. Giancarlo Italiano is serving his first season as coach having previously worked under former mentor Ufuk Talay.

Giancarlo talks to Martin about his side's season so far and what's been the key to their strong start, his transition from assistant to head coach in 2023, his ambitions for himself and the club, and more. The Phoenix play Melbourne City in Auckland on Saturday afternoon.
