Our inaugural episode is a conversation with Dorian Lynskey, podcaster, journalist, and author of The Ministry of Truth: A Biography of George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four.

Dorian co-hosts the podcasts Origin Story and Oh God, What Now? and in the past he's written for The Guardian, GQ, and Mojo Magazine, often with a focus on music. His previous work includes a history of protest music called 33 Revolutions Per Minute.

We had a good old chat about his work researching Orwell, especially the many ways that people misremember or misrepresent Orwell's ideas and views.
