Faith Looks to the Past

"God is going to" might very well be the most deceptive cliche in all of Christianity because that phrase forms the foundation for many of today's false doctrines.

God is going to heal you.
God is going to prosper you.
God is going to...whatever.

Only to lead many hearers into their future ditches on unanswered prayers, while having to continuously wonder why that which had been taught by so many had consistently failed to produce their desired results.

And it's all because those preachers have never come to understand that God the Father will NEVER do anything for us in our future simply because He had already done everything for us in our past, before the creation of the foundation of the world, being when He created the matrix of life.

Meaning that faith looks to the past in order to discern all that the Father had long ago done for us in order that we can then be led by the Spirit within us accordingly.

Or in other words:

Hope looks to the future.
Grace looks to the present.
Faith looks to the past.

With that concept being our perfect balance of spiritual sight.
