Gaza truce deal: First halt to hostilities in seven weeks

A four-day truce and the expected release of some Palestinian prisoners and Israeli captives, will bring some relief to a population who have endured almost seven weeks of Israeli bombardment.

This is the first opportunity people have had to move around without the threat of Israeli air strikes since October the seventh.
