The Marvels abysmal box office performance ultimately lies at the feet of it's poor writing. Nia DaCosta and Kevin Feige crafted a world class disaster the as such, the consequences should fall on them. But this is Hollywood, people on fail upward.

Enter Megan McDonnell. Megan worked as a writer on The Marvels and WandaVision for the MCU and has no other writing experience. Somehow, she made it onto Variety's 10 Top list for up and coming writers and bagged a gig working with Phoebe Waller-Bridge to destroy Lara Croft and the Amazon adaptation of the Tomb Raider series. Waller-Bridge, who was famously the worst part of the dreadful Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, also proves that no one ever really leaves the industry based on their performance.
