Around two dozen civilian captives released by
Hamas have been taken out of Gaza as part of a
truce agreement in Gaza.13 Israeli women and
children were transported to Egypt by the Red
Cross. The group also includes at least ten Thai
nationals and a Filipino captured by Hamas during
its attack on southern Israel last month.
Meanwhile Israel has transferred Palestinian
prisoners out of jail and to a detention centre near
Ramallah, in preparation to release them as part
of the deal.
