Recently, the Azov fighters captured a Russian soldier who made the only right decision for him - to surrender voluntarily.

The invader decided to reduce his prison term by signing a contract to serve in the Russian armed forces. But things turned out to be even worse in the Russian army than in the Russian prison.

Instead of the promised easy rear-guard money and amnesty, he was sent to the Kreminna frontline as an infantryman, without any training or support. His commanders treated him like cannon fodder. In order to avoid being killed, he decided to surrender to Azov.

Azov provided the prisoner of war with all the necessary medical care, as well as food and water.

We remind the enemy that their only chance to survive is to surrender voluntarily. Azov adheres to the Geneva Convention on the Treatment of Prisoners of War and guarantees them life.
