The work of rotary-winged aircraft is carried out in a round-the-clock mode. It takes no more than half an hour from receiving the task on scrambling to launching a strike. The Army Aviation units reach the combat mission area at minimum altitudes at speeds of up to 300 kilometers per hour.
After forward reconnaissance units detect targets, helicopter units eliminate targets with rockets.
Round-the clock readiness of the Army Aviation aircraft is provided by maintenance personnel.
