Heavy snipers of the 155th Pacific Fleet Marine Brigade working near Ugledar

Sniper pairs of the heavy sniper detachment provide fire support to assault groups of Marines operating in the Ugledar area in the South Donetsk direction. Moving forward to the line of combat contact, snipers try to get closer to the enemy, but so as not to be noticed. To work at night, thermal imaging equipment is used, which makes it possible to detect the enemy and inflict fire on him.

Having worked on the target, snipers hide in cover and, after waiting for some time, and sometimes the enemy’s return artillery fire, change their firing position. The soldiers said that while carrying out the task, they caught the enemy by surprise during an attempt to rotate their positions. They worked accurately, quickly, and most importantly accurately.

Pacific Fleet Marine Corps snipers know how to inflict maximum damage on the Ukrainian Armed Forces and at the same time remain unnoticed. This group of heavy snipers has hundreds of targets. Since February of this year, they were able to destroy almost an entire enemy battalion, and recently helped assault units take a forest belt in the Nikolskoye area.
