This raises the question of whether these actions are intentional, rather than mere oversight. It is important to note the level of diligence with which these Big Tech platforms monitor and police their content. They have sophisticated algorithms and teams of moderators dedicated to taking down, removing or flagging inappropriate material and individuals who do not comply with their guidelines.

Given this level of vigilance, it is difficult to believe that certain content slips through the cracks accidentally. The fact that some content that may be harmful or misleading and allowed to remain on the platforms; while individuals are swiftly penalized for minor infractions; raises suspicions about the true intentions behind these actions.

One could argue that these platforms may have ulterior motives; for targeting certain individuals or content; while turning a blind eye to others. For example, if a user posts information that is critical of a certain political figure or organization, they may be more likely to be suspended or banned, even if their content does not explicitly violate the TOS.

On the other hand, content that aligns with the interests or agenda of the platform, may be given a pass; even if it contains misinformation or harmful rhetoric. Furthermore, the fact that these platforms have been accused of denying or downplaying serious issues, such as the systemic problem of the trafficking of minors (despite evidence proving otherwise), further adds to the suspicion that their actions are not purely based on maintaining a safe and inclusive online environment.
