Nuclear energy - AEC welcomes two new board members

The Minister of State for Energy has reassured Ugandans about the ongoing review of laws aimed at strengthening the regulatory infrastructure for radiation and nuclear safety. This effort aims to further enhance the regulatory framework for nuclear safety and improve technical and human competence in response to emerging nuclear power programs.
The minister made these revelations while welcoming two new board members to the Atomic Energy Council.
