The dendrobium named after Royalty, Dendrobium victoriae-reginae native to the Philippines, currently living la vida in Southern Spain because the conditions are perfect. The cool air, the fog that rolls in from The Med, is making Dendrobium victoriae-reginae explode into growth. Now Dendrobium victoriae-reginae is blooming for the third time within the same calender year, with that stunning royal purple color. A well named orchid because the color of the blooms, as well as the sturdy texture, is definitely a majestic sight! It was nice to capture the natural conditions which this orchid would have during this time of it's growth cycle if we were to observe it in it's natural habitat in on the islands of Camiguin, Luzon, Mindanao, Mindoro and Negros.#dendrobiumvictoriareginae #philippines #camiguinisland #luzon #mindanao #mindoro
