Dendrobium serratilabium native to the Philippines, currently living la vida in Southern Spain because the conditions are perfect. The cool air, the fog that rolls in from The Med, is making Dendrobium serratilabium explode into growth. Now Dendrobium serratilabium is blooming for the third time with the cream to bronze colored blooms and that lip! The lip is the reason that my Dendrobium serratilabium is called 'Sharky' for short. A well named orchid because the lip has the serrated detail resembling the teeth of a predatory animal. It was nice to capture the natural conditions which this orchid would have during this time of it's growth cycle if we were to observe it in it's natural habitat in on the island of Mindanao, Philippines.#dendrobiumvictoriareginae #philippines #camiguinisland #luzon #mindanao #mindoro
