Rumoured Yamaha R9 Supersport Bike is Coming!

Yamaha's R9 super sport bike has been the subject of much speculation and rumour in the motorcycle industry. Recently, Yamaha filed trademark applications for the names YZF-R9 and R9, and new international patent protection applications have been filed for the planned logos of the bike. According to reliable sources, the font chosen for the branding exactly matches the font used by Yamaha on its other "R" series sport bikes. This has led many to believe that the R9 is indeed in development. It is rumoured that the R9 will be announced in 2023, most likely at the EICMA motorcycle show.
