Air Hogs Upriser Ducati Panigale V4 by Spin Master: Unboxing and Run Footage

The technology that Spin Master put into the Upriser Ducati is impressive. It's wild to watch it balance and even balance in a wheelie. I've never seen anything else like it. But I don't recommend it. I'll share what I've found about it in the few times I've tried to run it (most times without success).

I don't have any experience with RC motorcycles, so this is my first time running one and it took some getting used to. The best surface for this is something very flat but with a little grip–like tennis or basketball court. I tried the new asphalt road in our neighborhood and it could drive, but wouldn't wheelie. I think because there are inconsistencies in the top layer that are messing with the wheels on the back wheel. Office carpet that is very low pile worked best. It was a lot of fun on the carpet as all the features work and it corners tighter. My guess is that it would be a lot like a tennis court.

The bike itself looks good. The plastic body is durable and the rider takes most of the abuse when crashing. So he can be removed when you put it on the shelf for people to view. I think it looks cool and scale, except the back tire which has the wheels in it for functionality. But I think Ducati fans will like it.

While I like it on the carpet, it does make it hard for me to use this since my church is 20 minutes away and I don't have tennis or basketball courts near me. This makes the motorcycle harder for me to get out and use. But if you live in a city, near a park with courts, or have a large basement with low pile carpet or a smooth floor it would be a lot easier for you to use.

I would not purchase this RC, especially at the $150 price tag. The value isn't there and honestly it just drives weird with those wheels on the wheel.
There are a lot of other vehicles you can get for that money that are way more capable. But if you are a hardcore Ducati person and want and expensive toy that you can put on your shelf...it might be for you? I'd wait for the price to drop though. I would guess it has to because I don't think there is a market to support it. That cheap controller raise the first doubts about the cost. This would be better in the $35 range, but still would be frustrating for most users. In the end, it wasn't worth doing more videos with it.
