- However, if you experienced trauma, you likely see the world as a place of protection.
- These two perspectives are completely different and cannot coexist.
- Protection hinders growth, and growth eliminates protection.
- Most people with anxiety are in a state of protection.
The problem with protection is that it can lead to a victim mentality, which reinforces the need for protection.
- This creates a cycle that is difficult to break.
- To overcome this, it’s important to adopt a growth mentality.
- This starts with connecting more deeply with yourself and others.
- When you’re in a state of growth, you’re out of protection.
- And when you’re out of protection, you’re out of anxiety.
