A hijacking incident took place earlier this week in the Red Sea, involving Houthi rebels storming a cargo ship in retaliation for Israel's war against Hamas.
They also took hostages including Filipino seafarers.
Meanwhile, President Bongbong Marcos assured that the government is doing everything it can to ensure the safety of our seafarers.
