As YouTube begins devoting resources to the destruction of Adblock, the question needs to be asked... is it worth it? With majority mobile traffic, and an infestation of malicious ads seemingly omnipresent on the platform already, the new direction seems more like corporate desperation than a genuine effort to improve the platform for their users.
