Mediator Qatar says Gaza truce to start on Friday

Israel and Hamas are set to initiate a four-day truce on Friday morning (November 24), says Qatari spokesperson Majed Al-Ansari, marking the first agreement in the nearly seven-week-old conflict. The ceasefire, starting at 7 a.m. local time, covers both north and south Gaza, Qatar's foreign ministry said.
