I have made it very public & very clear that I do not support the Western modern entertainment path & have been a lot more focused on playing Japanese or just games without any modern day influences. It is poison & we are seeing how badly it always fails.
My friend @XBlazePS3 has been suggesting the Yakuza series for a while & I finally got around to playing my first 1, Like A Dragon. It is great. It's really not my style of game, I like more fantastical games with demons/monsters/aliens but this game draws you in with the story & characters. I was only going to play for an hour & found myself playing more & more.
Needless to say, I am playing with the original Japanese dialogue. No disrespect to Yong Yea, I like the guy, but this role was too early in his VA career to have the experience to play a gruff & aged character like Kazuma Kiryu.
My thumbnail is not meant to disrespect Yong, it's just a playful jab. Worse things have been said about him & his VA in this game.
