The world-famous Vigeland Sculpture Park was founded in 1924 in Oslo, Norway, by sculptor Adolf Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943).

Most of his works deal with humanity, motherhood, childhood and emotions. But in the midst of all this splendor, like followers in the forest, lurk prophetic sculptures that speak of the reptilian takeover of humanity, of external control and tyranny, of sexual violence and humiliation. "We are food for the reptiles," these sculptures shout from all their guises.
