Simple Traffic Stop, gone horribly wrong g!

So was this a case of justified self defence?
Or another example of police brutality?
Let’s look at the facts before we deliver our verdict.
On October 16, 2023, a 53-year-old American man named Leonard Cure, was fatally shot in a traffic stop, the cop clocked Cure, travelling in excess of 100mph, which prompted him to initiate a traffic stop, Cure would go on to ignore him for a prolonged period of time before finally pulling over, after resisting arrest & not following the deputies orders, a physical struggle ensued, which resulted in Cure being shot in his upper left torso, and losing his life.

Cure had been exonerated in 2020 After being imprisoned for 16 years after being wrongfully convicted of an armed robbery that took place in Florida, back in 2003, the (IPF) “Innocence Project of Florida” would go on to prove Cure’s Innocence, due to conflicting culprit descriptions given by the store clerk’s at the time, and more vitally, a ATM receipt, placing Cure Miles away from the scene where the robbery took place,

This may explain why Cure was initially so hostile towards the deputy from the jump,
Cure did commit an offence, which meant the deputy had a valid reason, to pull him over,
Although the deputy starting shouting at Cure from the moment Cure exited his vehicle, keep. In mind Cure had ignored the deputy attempts to pull him over for a pro longed period of time, so the deputy had no idea what kind of character he was dealing with, but would have most likely assumed he was going to be difficult, so attempting to stamp his authority as early as possible, when Cure began to question the deputy,
Leonard Cure, born November 23rd, 1969, was wrongfully convicted of armed robbery in 2003. On November 10, 2003, an armed robbery took place in Dania Beach, Florida, where a man with a revolver forced his way into a Walgreens store. The suspect would flee the store with nearly $2,000 in cash. Descriptions of the suspect provided by two store employees were conflicting, In 2004, a mistrial for Cure was declared after the jury deadlocked. Cure was tried again, however this time he was convicted, and sentenced to life imprisonment. Over a decade later,
The Florida Innocence Project would conduct an investigation, they found that an ATM receipt proved Cure had been miles away from the store during the time of the robbery. Thus In April of 2020, Cure was exonerated and released from prison, Cure went on to receive $817,000 in compensation for his imprisonment. He was the first person to be exonerated by the Broward County Conviction Review Unit.

The deputy who executed buck, was no Angel, and has had his fare share of problems, The Georgia police officer who shot the recently exonerated Cure, during the traffic stop was once fired for excessive use of force in 2017
Camden County Sheriff's deputy Buck Aldridge killed unarmed Leonard Cure, 53, after pulling him over on the I-95.
the deputy in question was fired from his previous job for violating the agency's use of force policy, during a traffic stop.
Aldridge was fired from Kingsland police in 2017, over an incident in which he reportedly picked up a woman and threw her on the ground during a traffic stop.
A report from an internal investigation into the 2017 incident contains comments from another officer involved in the stop who is noted as saying he thought Aldridge's reaction was 'a bit much'.
A second officer said: 'I see a police officer being way too aggressive to start with. He had no business picking her up and throwing her on the ground.'
The personnel files obtained by News4JAX also reveal Aldridge received several warnings about his conduct in the years leading up to his firing.
The loss of life is always sad, may all affected parties, find peace and healing moving forward from this tragic event.
