Rep. Thomas Massie has been sounding the alarm about a government-mandated kill switch that the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 requires to be installed in all new cars. He and other opponents are worried how that the technology could be used to shut off cars for reasons other than impaired driving.
