Former Combat Medic Honored with Quilt of Valor

The ER team at Broward Health Medical Center presented Broward Health Emergency Manager Richard Opthof with a vibrant quilt from the Quilt of Valor Foundation. Opthof served as a combat medic in the U.S. Army for eight years, including a deployment to Afghanistan.
