Men Need To Be Heard Show (Ep:36) Speaking Out About Injustice & Double Standards in Today's Society

This week my very special guest is someone you probably saw a couple of years back in a video that went viral across the world.

Nate Silvester aka "Officer Nate" went viral after posting a satirical TikTok response to LeBron James' infamous "Accountability" tweet regarding Officer Nicholas Reardon.

The video which can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdzC8sW9MzA gained world wide attention and millions of views and propelled Nate into a spotlight he never dreamed he would be in.

He subsequently went on to be interviewed by many media outlets including CNN & Fox News.

Nate shares the story of why he made the video, the response he got afterward and how it lead to his getting fired which in the end has been a blessing in disguise.

Nate shares what he does now to promote awareness of many of the double standards and injustices he sees in today's society.

We also get into a difficult topic but one that needs to be brought to light which is how law enforcement officials are taught to respond to domestic violence calls and Nate shares some stories on some of the calls he went on and how his superiors thought he should handle them.
