The A4 Skyhawk is one of the most successful combat aircraft in aviation history. First flown in 1954, the SKYHAWK is STILL in service with Air Forces outside the USA to this day. Although designed as a carrier-capable, LIGHT ATTACK AIRCRAFT for the US Navy and USMC, the A-4 successfully expanded its remit to include a wide-range of additional roles, perhaps most famously as an ADVERSARY AIRCRAFT at the US Navy’s Fighter Weapons School.
