China Asks Australia To "Stop Causing Trouble At Doorstep" After Sonar Pulse "Attack" On Navy Divers
The Chinese foreign ministry defended its naval interaction with Australia on November 20. China said that its military has always operated in accordance with international law. China’s remarks came after Australia accused Beijing over the weekend of "unsafe and unprofessional" conduct at sea around the HMAS Toowoomba. Australia's Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the sonar pulses emitted by a Chinese warship "likely" injured navy divers.
