Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is a 1978 American musical comedy film that was based on the Beatles songs, and starred an ensemble cast led by Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees.

The film flopped at the box office and the covers of the Beatles songs were received with negative reviews, with the rare exception of only two songs: Earth, Wind & Fire's cover of Got to Get You Into My Life and Aerosmith's cover of Come Together, which were met with high praise. The EW&F got them a Grammy, and Paul McCartney has once said that out of all the covers of the Beatles song, this cover is the only one he loves.
