ANNA News: Instead of Breakthrough, Failure - Ukraine War Combat Footage 2023 Today (Russian Lang.)

Ukraine cannot decide what tactics to use against Russian forces repelling the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The allies recommend that Kyiv use Western techniques, but in response they hear requests for new weapons.

Ukraine has made very modest progress in its counteroffensive against Russian forces, and it still needs to conduct large-scale operations that U.S. officials believe could provide a breakthrough. Their officials and analysts say this, exacerbating doubts even among Kyiv's main supporters whether the Armed Forces of Ukraine can advance quickly enough in the face of a limited amount of ammunition and weapons.

Five weeks after the start of the much-awaited operation for the West, Ukrainian forces are still trying to weaken Russian defenses by firing artillery shells and rocket salvos and sending small groups of sappers into the vast minefields that make up the outer ring of Russian troops. But the pace of advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in three main areas along the front line a thousand kilometers long has caused fears in the West that the Zelensky government may not deliver such a powerful blow as expected of it.

A U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity with The Washington Post about the U.S. assessment of the operation, said the United States and other countries had trained the allied army in integrated offensive operations and provided it with demining equipment, including special rollers and anti-mine rockets.
