W1, the inaugural creation from Chinese company LimX Dynamics specializing in legged robotics technology, is part of the rising demand for such robots, particularly in China, where substantial investments in robotics and artificial intelligence are being made.

This four-legged robot features powered wheels at the ends of its legs, allowing it to swiftly traverse smooth surfaces like roads and sidewalks.

Additionally, it can employ its legs to navigate obstacles, climb stairs, and maneuver over uneven terrain.

Equipped with smart sensors and software, W1 can autonomously move or follow human commands, making it suitable for industrial inspection, logistics, distribution, research, and education.

W1’s wheeled legs and motion intelligence technology enable it to perform diverse tasks and functions, and it can be customized with various sensors, tools, and accessories for specific applications, Fox News reported.
