Police searching for 8-year-old Kokomo child reportedly kidnapped by mother

Kokomo police are seeking help in locating a child who was involved in a kidnapping incident Thursday. Capt. Tonda Cockrell with the Kokomo Police Department said a father told officers his 8-year-old daughter Ja’layia Williams had been taken from an IHOP restaurant at 50 West 300 South by her biological mother, 29-year-old Sherica Wizzard.
