The Historic Clifton Mill is one of the largest water-powered grist mills still in existence. The first mill at this site was built in 1802 by Owen Davis, a Revolutionary War soldier and frontiersman miller. This mill also supplied grain for the War of 1812 American soldiers as well as the Union soldiers throughout the 1861-1865 American Civil War. Our history is glorious because of our faith in Jesus Christ, as you celebrate Thanksgiving in a few day, revel in God's goodness to you and your country and praise Him for His goodness.
