This is a simple device designed to do just one thing and it does it rather well. It is a desktop charger and will charge two USB-A and two USB-C-connected devices in any combination you wish.

In the box, you receive the charger itself and a UK power cable. No user guide is included, which is a pity, but a full spec sheet is printed on the box. Build quality seems fine and the unit, constructed from heavy duty ABS, feels well made and robust.

On the front are the four charging ports, USB-A on one side, and USB-C on the other. On the rear is the two pin power port and on the top the rather dim LED display showing the real-time Current, Voltage and Power consumed by each connected device.

Using the latest GaN3 technology the unit will cleverly balance the required load for each connected device to ensure the maximum safe charging rate for all. The Desktop Fast Charger supports a maximum of 100W output for the USB-C ports, When You both use Both USB-C ports, port C1 will output up to 65W, and C2 will output up to 30W. The USB-A ports can output up to 18w each. Different port combinations will yield different output levels, and this can be a bit complicated, but here we go. :
C1 +A1=65W+18W,
A1+A2=7.5W+7.5W,
C1+C2+A1+A2=45W+30W+7.5W+7.5W

I have not tested these specific manufacturer claims myself, but from my own experience, I have little reason to doubt them: all from flat - MacBook Air 2.5 hours, iPhone 1 hour, iPad 1.5 hours, Airpods, 30 minutes. It supports the following industry standard charging protocols: Power Delivery 3.0/Quick Charge 4+/PPS/AFC/5V2.4A/BC1.2. Leaving all that aside, you will not be let down by the charging speeds available. The charger has over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit, and over-heat protection and so there should be no chance of overloading.

This is not a cheap device, coming as it does with a RRP of £99.99, but discounts are widely available and at the time of writing it can be had on Amazon for just £49.99, and at that price, it is a very attractive buy.
